Prerequisites for Enrollment: Are You Ready?

Certified as an SDI Open Water Instructor or equivalent.

Certified as a TDI Sidemount Diver or equivalent.

What Skills Will You Learn?

Demonstrate various propulsion techniques: frog kick, modified frog kick, modified flutter kick, backwards kick, helicopter turns, and hand pulling if appropriate for the environment.

Demonstrate adequate buoyancy control; ability to hover at fixed position in water column without moving hands or Feet.

Demonstrate adequate trim; ability to maintain proper position during the descent, bottom, and ascent portion of the dive.

Demonstrate the ability to safely manage gas in independent cylinders.

Demonstrate conservation, awareness, and back referencing techniques.

During this course, your TDI Instructor will teach you all of the necessary skills to conduct no decompression CCR dives to a maximum depth of 30 metres/100 feet using air diluent.

TDI CCR AIR DIL DECO PROCEDURES DIVER

During this course, your TDI Instructor will teach you all of the necessary skills to conduct decompression CCR dives to a maximum depth of 40 metres/130 feet using air diluent.

TDI GAS BBLENDER INSTRUCTOR COURSE

This course for instructors wishing to teach the TDI Nitrox Gas Blender program. The objective of this course is to train instructors to teach the proper techniques involved in blending nitrox gasses for use in scuba.

What can I do after receiving my certificate?

Upon successful completion of the course, graduates may teach diving activities in a
Sidemount equipment configuration provided:
1. The diving activities approximate those of training.
2. The areas of activities and environmental conditions approximate those of training.
Graduates who are also nitrox instructors may enroll in:
1. TDI Advanced Nitrox Instructor course.
2. TDI Decompression Procedures Instructor course.

How long does the course take?

The duration of the course varies, but it typically takes 2-3 days to complete, including theory sessions, pool training, and open water dives.

Do I need prior diving experience?

Yes, prior diving experience is required.

What equipment do I need?

No, you don’t need to have your own scuba gear. We provide all necessary equipment as part of the course fee. However, we recommend purchasing your own mask, snorkel, and fins for a better fit and added comfort. If you’re interested in buying your own scuba gear, we offer special discounts for students on high-quality equipment.

Is the TDI certification accepted worldwide?

Yes, all TDI certifications are recognized worldwide. Once certified, you can dive in various locations, but your maximum depth limit will depend on your training level.
